RI Shriners is a non-profit organization that currently has in their employment over thirty plus employees. The core employees average out to ten with the wait staff constantly changing. Since the wait staff consists of mostly high schoolers, they usually come and go, as such this new work schedule is needed to keep the wait staff in check.
Strengths: RI Shriners has an abundance of employees so they should never be short on staff.
Weaknesses: Communication between the management and work staff are poorly handled, resulting in lack of employees on schedule.
Opportunities: If the new work scheduling system is successful, perhaps the business will see their wait staff stop coming and going so often.
Threats: After this new system is set up, if employees don’t follow up to check on their own end, it may still result in a lack of absences at work.

While RI Shriners has been able to make due with the amount of wait staff for each occasion, this new work schedule has not always been a main focus. Hopefully, with the implementation of said schedule, lack of a proper workforce will no longer be an excuse.
The actions RI Shriners will be taking will be in regards to development and implementation of a new work schedule document which will result in easier communication.
